Alina Kleytman is an artist whose practice encompasses sculpture, video and curatorial projects. Kleytman describes her approach as “hysterical realism” and deals with themes ranging from psychological and physical boundaries to black magic, abuse in relationships and depersonalization through self-aggrandizement. Her works subjectively embody today's political and social realities. In her sculptures, she transforms everyday objects into artificial, imaginative, fantastic forms. She works with materials such as natural fur, hair, feathers and metal, but also with synthetic plastics and silicones.

"Welcome to a world where every gunshot is an applause for your cowardice, every bomb an ovation for your indifference," - says a neural network called Dirty White, designed by the artist. The installation presents the hypothetical aftermath of a world government party interrupted by the explosion of a nuclear bomb - with the artifacts exhumed from the future. The sculpture is created from objects found at the sites of destruction in Ukrainian cities. The sphere is made of body bags, and the hands and legs are inlaid with glass from the windows of bombed Houses of Culture from de-occupied territories.
